Removing roof upholstery for restoration

Everything that doesn't belong in the previous categories probably belongs here. Interiour (how are the seats mounted? how to remove the CEM?) and exteriour (how to replace the popup-lights shock absorbers or a door) are discussed here!

Removing roof upholstery for restoration

Postby bigdickbuster » Fri Jan 01, 2010 5:57 am

My roof upholstery looks like dirty scum bag.

Question is:

How to remove roof upholstery? Can I do it via tailgate, whether must I remove a windshield?

BDB the roof liner slides out the tailgate. No problem just remember to disconnect the tail lights etc to the rear window/hatch remove c pillar interior remove the hard plastic liner strips and the bit around the sunroof. the roof motor switch is awkward. and unscrew the sun visors . Thats all there is to it

look up the pictures bit in the how to section and you will see the set up for the roof motor switch and connector
