Wiper blades

Hey all,

Driving about 60 Mph (100 km/h) on the highway, heavy rain and lot of traffic, what could be the worst or at least a bad thing to happen? Well i guess a wiper blade falling of the wiper arm might be one! Exactly what happend to me the other night.... not to imagine what could have happend to the windscreen of the car behind me! Lucky me, that the wiper blade did fall off, while the arm was in the lower position and so it dropped right underneath the hood...
I realised while replacing the old wipers, that they didn't click in right... but thought, might be one of the 480 special features....
I'm using standard BOSCH wiper blades, do I have to buy special ones for the 480?

Any ideas?

I bought cheap, but good wiper blades with normal clinch. They fit, and work well. So I think that you have used too little force

its odd but some blades dont hold well or it could be the wiper arm becoming slightly spread . if so just nip it up with a set of mole grips or vice

ps it happened to me in mid wipe scratched the the widescreen - not best pleased.
